The texts have been gathered from online historical archives, personal collections, libraries, and digital platforms.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #937a5b;\"><strong>What is the purpose of Humtext?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><strong>Humtext<\/strong> aims to study and systematically document written humor on a large scale across the different varieties of Spanish found in printed texts over more than five centuries.
